Amatsu with Taz
Amatsu is a Japanese therapy that works balancing all of the structures of the body to restore and improve movement patterns of the body, this in turn has the effect of improving mobility, reducing tension and relieving pain. When there is pain and dysfunction in the body this is often because restrictions are causing the body to work against itself, the key to the success in Amatsu is reintegration. Allowing the body to work as one coherent structure protecting and reinforcing itself though organised movement. Amatsu is a whole body approach, regardless of the presenting problem as small restriction in remote parts of the body can have a dramatic influence anywhere in the body.
An Amatsu treatment is performed on a treatment couch with the client fully clothed (although lose comfortable clothing is best), various assessment are made to identify the most effective place to make correction, then the limbs of the body are calibrated for optimum function. This stimulates repair, improves elimination of waste products and promotes healing.
